AI virtual staging
Stage the whole room. Then stage it from the other side.
Add virtual furniture to an empty room in minutes, and keep the same furniture across every angle of it: same sofa, same rug, same coffee table, from wherever you stood.

Empty room to furnished, in one credit
The room is untouched. Only the furniture is added.
How it works
Pick the photos
Tick the empty rooms you want furnished. Tick "All photos" if the whole set needs it.
Say what you want
Type it in plain English, say "a grey sofa, coffee table and a rug", or leave it blank and let it choose furniture that suits the room.
Stage the other angles
The first staged photo becomes the reference. Every other angle of that room is furnished to match it, so the furniture stays the same.
The hard part isn't the furniture. It's the room around it.
Any tool can put a sofa in a photo. The question is what else it changed.
Furnishing a photo is the easy half. The hard half is doing it without widening the room, moving a window or laying new floorboards. A staged image is disclosed as staged, so the buyer forgives the sofa. They do not forgive a lounge that turns out smaller than the photo, or a view that is not there at the open home.
Duskpix adds furniture and nothing else. Walls, windows, floors, ceilings and fittings come back exactly as shot, so the room in the photo is the room they walk into, just furnished.
What it costs
Staging costs one credit, the same as every other edit, so furnish four rooms instead of one, and do the second angle of each, without the cost of the shoot changing shape.
One credit
Top-ups from A$10 for 10 photos, or a plan from A$29 a month. A failed edit refunds itself.
Why the second angle is the hard part
Most AI staging tools furnish one photo at a time and have no memory of what they put in the room. Point one at the second angle of the same lounge and you get a different sofa, a different rug and a different coffee table. Virtual staging is disclosed on the listing, so the buyer already knows the furniture is not there. The problem is not that they notice. It is that four photos of one lounge are meant to tell them how big it is and where the seating goes, and furniture that changes between shots answers neither. A stylist furnishes the room once and photographs what is in front of them; consistency is simply what staging looks like done properly.
Duskpix keeps the furniture consistent across every angle of the room. The first staged photo sets what is in there, down to the colour, the material and the details that make one sofa different from another, and every other angle is furnished to match it: same sofa, same rug, same coffee table, seen from where you were standing.
You can also point it at a specific reference photo and tell it where you were standing relative to that shot: same view, to the left, to the right, or the opposite side. Useful when you want precise control over a tricky angle.
Staging that keeps you on the right side of the line
Australian Consumer Law is unforgiving about listing images, and NSW Fair Trading and Consumer Affairs Victoria both warn against photos altered to add or hide features. The line is simple: adding furniture to an empty room is fine. Changing the property's actual condition is not.
Duskpix's staging is built to that line. The instruction sent with every staging request requires walls, windows, doors, flooring, ceilings, light fittings and architectural features to stay pixel-for-pixel identical. Only the furniture you asked for is added. It will not quietly repaint a wall, repair a crack or remove a power line.
Every staged image still needs a disclosure on the listing. Wording along the lines of "Images have been virtually staged to illustrate the property's potential. Furniture and décor shown are digitally rendered and are not included with the property." is the shape most agencies use. Check your own agency's and state institute's guidance.
Common questions
Is this AI virtual staging?
Yes. You pick the photos and describe the furniture, and Duskpix's AI adds it while you wait, with no editor to brief and no overnight turnaround. Some agencies call the result virtual furniture or virtual styling; it is the same thing, and it is disclosed the same way.
How many credits does staging cost?
One credit per photo, the same as every other AI edit. Staging four angles of a lounge costs four credits. Matching the furniture to your reference photo costs nothing extra.
Can I choose a furniture style?
You describe what you want in plain English rather than picking from a preset list. "Mid-century, walnut and cream, low-profile sofa" works as well as "a grey sofa and a rug". Leave the field blank and it picks furniture appropriate to the room type.
Can I use my own inspiration photo?
Yes. Upload a reference image and the staging run will match its furniture. Uploaded references are used for that run only and are never stored.
Does it change the room itself?
No. The instruction explicitly requires the architecture, meaning walls, windows, doors, flooring, ceiling and light fittings, to stay unchanged. Only furniture is added.
Do I have to disclose virtual staging in Australia?
Yes. Australian Consumer Law prohibits misleading or deceptive conduct, and staged images need a clear disclaimer on the listing. Staging an empty room is accepted practice when disclosed; misrepresenting the property's actual condition is not.
